BOM cans severe storm warning

The Bureau of Meteorology has cancelled severe thunderstormwarnings across Victoria –but Bendigo is still likely to receive more rain and thunderstorms throughout the day.

Between 10 to 20 millimetres of rain is expected today, but the BoM has said there may be heavy rainfall warnings to come.

Tomorrow is expected to be partly cloudy, with a 10 per cent chance of rain, while Sunday and Monday are expected to be sunny with a 10 per cent and 5 per cent chance of rain,respectively.

Though the immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, the BoM is still advising that the situation will continue to be monitored and that further warnings will be issued if necessary.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
